WaterWorks Total Iron Test Kit

WaterWorks Total Iron Visual Test kit is designed for testing both Ferric (Fe+3) and Ferrous (Fe+2) forms of iron in your drinking water. Test contains powder packets that react with Iron, which makes water testing easier and does not require a water meter. Test results are quickly available in less than 3 minutes.

 

The Total Iron Water Test Kit is a simple test procedure that requires no technical training. It is ideal for field and at-home testing to ensure that your levels of iron are below US EPA recommended maximum level of 0.3 ppm (parts per million, or mg/L).

 

If you have rusty stains on your bathroom and other fixtures, it is a good sign of iron in water. There are usually 3 types of iron, ferric, ferrous and bacteria based. A lot of the times on well water stains can be from bacteria based iron, which this test will not detect. A lab level test would be required for bacteria based iron, such as NTL Labs Iron Bacteria Test.
