GE Dual Gradient Sediment Filter 10-50

GE Suez Dual Gradient Sediment Filter 10-50 is a 10" X 4.5" filter with 5-50 micron dual sediment layers that reduces sand, rust, dirt, silt, turbidity and similar particles. Dual sediment layers provide up to three times the dirt-holding capacity than pleated, string-wound and standard spun polypropylene cartridges. This Dual Gradient filter starts with a 50 micron outer layer that provides filtration for larger particles and is followed by a 5 micron inner layer that stops anything larger than 5 microns. A larger outer pre-filter reduces the partial load to the inner post filter allowing the cartridge to operate at higher velocities and lower pressure drop.

GE Infrastructure Dual Gradient effectively reduces sediment as a pre-filter to softener and automatic filter systems. The dual depth cartridge design significantly increases capacity and generally have over twice the capacity of a regular sediment filter. Overall unique design and performance characteristics of the DGD Series cartridges make them an excellent choice for all residential, rural, municipal and commercial applications.

Compatible to a number of different cartridges of standard 10"x5" size that carry brands such as Pentek 155357-43 dual gradient filter , Ametek, US Water, GE, Whirlpool, American Plumber and others. Cartridge provides much better performance than a typical 25 micron filter cartridge that fits these systems (5 micron is better filtration than 25 micron).
