TFC HF1 Low Energy RO Membrane 2.5x21

Crystal Quest Extra Low Energy commercial Reverse Osmosis membrane, 2.5" x 21", TFC HF1 R. Reverse osmosis membrane elements operate at very low applied pressure. Can be used on Crystal Quest Commercial Reverse Osmosis systems 500 GPD (CQE-CO-02024
) and 1000 GPD (CQE-CO-02025).

After installation of the TFC HF1 membranes, the first full tank of permeate should be discarded. Do not use this initial permeate.

 

Proper start-up of reverse osmosis water treatment system is essential to prepare the TFC HF1 industrial membrane elements for operating service and to prevent membrane damage due to overfeeding or hydraulic shock.

 

Keep the RO element moist at all times after initial wetting.

 

During prolonged system shutdowns, it is recommended that the TFC HF1 membrane elements be immersed in a preservative solution. This is to prevent biological growth.
