Filter should be changed every 6 to 12 months.
Note: If you are on city water and your municipality uses chloramines for disinfection (about 20% of U.S., including cities such as Los Angeles, San Francisco and San Diego), this cartridge may not be for you as it does not have enough carbon to remove high levels of chloramines.
