Nitrate Multistage Cartridge 10"x2.5" contains a special nitrate-selective resin, and a 5-stages of additional water filtration for clean healthy water with excellent taste. Nitrate reduction is 90% to 95% and breakthrough is not affected by sulfate levels. The capacity is 3000 ppm of nitrates as NO3. To determine capacity, first calculate the ppm of nitrates as NO₃, then divide that number into 3000 to get the gallons. This cartridge can be regenerated using sodium chloride brine. It also contains 2-one micron filter pads, KDF 55, KDF 85 and coconut shell GAC. CQ-N250 is a macroporous strong base anion resin which is specially designed for the removal of nitrates from water for potable processes. The macroporous matrix and special ion exchange group functionality imparts ideal nitrate selectivity to CQ-N250 making this resin particularly suitable for nitrate removal even when moderate to high concentrations of sulphate are present. Hence this resin gives superior performance in nitrate removal applications when compared with standard exchange resins.
