GAC Carbon Commercial Water Filter System

Commercial Granular Activated Carbon Water Filters ( GAC ) are designed for outstanding performance, and are ideal for removing chlorine, organics, chloramines, colors, odor, THMs (tthm) and Volatile Organic Compounds ( VOCs ) and pesticides from water. They are cost effective and reliable.

 

Our Commercial GAC Water Filters also use patented Eagle Redox Alloy ® to significantly increase lifespan of GAC filter and prevent bacteria contamination. Eagle Redox Alloy is a copper-zinc formula that is completely safe to operate and meets EPA and FDA standards for level of zinc and copper in potable water.

For Chloramines reduction, we strongly suggest an upgrade to Catalytic Carbon media for better performance. It is currently additional $70 per cu.ft. of media, and this can change without notice.

As a side benefit, redox consistently removes 99% of free chlorine, and also reduces lead, mercury, iron and hydrogen sulfide. The media inhibits bacteria growth (fungi, algae and mold) and reduces lime scale, mold, and fungi. throughout the entire unit. In fact, testing has shown that it reduces it up to 90%; thus eliminating the need for silver, commonly used in carbon-only filters. A very small amount of Redox media is added per cubic foot. We can custom make your unit without Redox media, with just carbon, call us or specify during checkout!

Available water flow is between 22 GPM and 280 GPM (gallons per minute).

 

All units can be assembled with or without automatic backwash valve. Contact us for price information on manually backwashed units.

 

These units are heavy! Actual shipping charges will be added to your order after unit is assembled. We can also install manual valve instead of electronic, or a valve that will backwash based on the amount of gallons flown (additional $350 for smaller tanks, please inquire for 2"+ line tanks).
