Our Commercial iron removal Water Filters use iron removal media, along with patented Eagle Redox Alloy ® to significantly improve the performance of iron removing media. Eagle Redox Alloy is a copper-zinc formula that is completely safe to operate and meets EPA and FDA standards for level of zinc and copper in potable water.
As a side benefit, redox consistently removes 99% of free chlorine, and also removes lead, mercury, iron and hydrogen sulfate. The media inhibits bacteria growth (fungi, algae and mold) and reduces lime scale, mold, and fungi. throughout the entire unit. In fact, testing has shown that it reduces it up to 90%; thus eliminating the need for silver, commonly used in carbon-only filters.
