Ultrafiltration (UF) is an important purification technology used for the production of high-purity water. UF is effective for the removal of colloids, proteins, bacteria, viruses, parasites protozoa and pyrogens, (e.g., gram-negative bacterial endotoxins), organic and inorganic polymeric molecules and other organic molecules larger 0.2 micron and up to .01 Micron size and most other water contaminations known today. Ultrafiltration membranes remove pesticides and herbicides, as well as may reduce water hardness and salts.
How 20" Ultrafiltration Membranes work
Filter Life: 2-3 years
Micron rating: 0.2 micron Filter Size: 20" x 2.5", fits most standard 20x2.5 inch filter housings
Water Flow Rate: up to 13 GPM (gallons per minute) |
