7-Stage InLine Water Filter with 1 micron filtration and Fluoride Removal, for use in refrigerators with ice-maker and/or water through the door, water fountains, water coolers, commercial coffee makers and ice machines. Reduces fluoride below 0.5 ppm. Contains Activated Alumina. Cartridge is designed to perform at slow controlled flow rate.

How 7-stage Refrigerator Filter works

Water travels through 7 stages of filtration:

A high quality 6-stage Water Filter which contains two 1 micron filter pads, KDF 55, KDF 85, ion exchange resin and coconut shell GAC to remove hundreds of contaminants (if present). See 6-stage water filter cartridge for more details

Additionally, water goes through a fine-mesh pre-resin media in the unit to reduce fluorides below 0.5 ppm

Capacity is up to 6,000 ppm with effluent levels below 0.2 ppm from 10 ppm feed. Note: high pH and high bicarbonate levels reduce capacity - above 100 ppm bicarbonate, reduction by 50%; above 200 ppm, reduction by 75%. Also effectively removes arsenic.
