The KX Matrikx VOC water filter for Big Blue housings, part number 02-425-125-975 , uses coconut shell carbon to remove chlorine, taste and odor, turbidity, sediment, VOC (Volatile Organic Compounds), TOC and Chloroform. Filter is a 0.6-micron, (2 micron nominal, 5 micron absolute). Flow rate 3 GPM, change cartridge every 3-6 months.
KX Matrikx CTO Carbon Filter is manufactured from high purity coconut shell activated carbon. It is ideal for use in residential and commercial water purification systems, food service.

The KX MATRIKX VOC BB WATER FILTER is Tested and Certified by NSF International under NSF/ANSI Standard 53 Turbidity and Cyst reduction.
Replacement Filter will fit into Pentek, Ametek, US Filter, Kleen Plus, American Plumber, Crystal Quest and other filter housings that take a standard size 10"x4.5" cartridge.
Filter should be changed every 4 to 6 months.
