C-style Self-Piercing Saddle Valve, 1/4" . Aluminum clamp with 1/4" male compression or quick connect fitting. Self-piercing valve fits on a 3/8" to 5/8" copper tubing and uses a simple mechanism to connect to 1/4" outside diameter tubing.
Installation: cold water line, recomended after a shut-off valve. Mount and tighten saddle valve onto a copper line where it can be easily accessed. Turn the valve clockwise all the way in to pierce the pipe. This will also be the "OFF" position for the line (your RO or other water filter system). Turn counter-clockwise to open the valve and let the water through.
Not intended for flex line tubing.
