Pentek SW1-A Water Filter Wrench. This wrench fits most standard Slim Line Housings, including WW38 by Pentek, Ametek, US Filter, American Plumber, Plymouth and others. Use this SW-1 wrench to loosen the canister part of the housing during filter replacement. Can be used on countertop or under sink water filter housings that carry standard 2.5" water filters.
How to use Pentek SW1-A Filter Wrench.
Slide the opening over the filter housing, until a good fit has been achieved. Rotate the wrench until it grabs the edges on a housing. Push harder to loosen the canister.
Do NOT use the wrench to secure the canister after filter has been replaced, doing so will damage the o-rings. Always only hand tighten the housing!
