This Pleated Sediment Filter Cartridge 20x2.5 outperforms wound, spun, melt blown, resin bonded and other "depth" type filter elements because this cartridge is pleated to provide increased surface area and longer life. It also provides high flow rates and dirt-holding capacity while maintaining extremely low pressure drop.

Pleated Sediment filter removes any non-dissolved contaminants that are larger than 5 micron in size.
Life of the filter will vary significantly based on the amount of sediment in water. In a well water environment, please check every month (or more) to determine filtration capacity.
Sediment filter cartridge requires standard 2.5"x20" water filter housing for proper operation.
