RO Membrane Installation Instructions

1. Disconnect water
2. Remove old membrane, if you are replacing it (some new systems already come with RO membrane installed). Depending on which Reverse Osmosis system you own, you may or may not require to remove Reverse Osmosis membrane housing from the system.
3. Remove housing cap. In some systems it is a body of the housing that you have to twist and remove.
4. Pull old membrane from the housing. Some membranes will have a pull ring, others only have a stem. Use pliers if it is a stem.
5. Insert new membrane into a housing.
6. When membrane is securely in place, replace the cap or connect filter housing.

Question: Some websites say that it is a bad idea to touch membrane with bare hands. Is this true?
Answer: It is true for some membranes, but not for ours. Our membranes come in a blue protective housing, and there is no problem with touching it.

Filter life:2- 4 years.
Capacity: 50 GPD (gallons per day)
