5-stage RO Process
Stage 1: Sediment filter cartridge that removes 99.9% of microbiological cysts, Giardia and cryptosporidium
Stage 2: Granulated Activated Carbon (GAC) cartridge which is widely used as successful removal of organic contaminants, such as chlorine (99.9%), chemicals linked to cancer (THMs, benzine), pesticides, herbicides, insecticides, volatile organic compounds (VOCs), PCB's, MTBE's, and hundreds of other chemical contaminants that may present in water and cause bad taste and odor in your drinking water.
Stage 3: Water travels through 50 GPD TFC Reverse Osmosis membrane, which removes lead, sodium, cyanide, ammonium, mercury, bromide, cadmium, trivalent chromium, radium, magnezium, fluoride, nitrates, nitrites and many other contaminants. This is one of the best consume water filtration technologies on the market today
Stage 4: Water passes through a Solid Carbon cartridge to remove volatile organic compounds (VOC's), pesticides, and industrial solvents.
Stage 5: Another Granulated Activated Carbon cartridge (GAC)
This system is designed to be installed under kitchen sink. Please make sure you have enough space to accomodate it. Parts of the system, for instance a storage tank, can be located in a connecting compartment. A single water line connects system output and a counter top faucet.
